The 30 Day Journal Challenge – Day 28

Journal Prompt 28:  What are you most looking forward to?  This can be something tomorrow, in a month, a year, or way into the future

My friend has just arrived this week in Iraq for a year-long tour in the United States Army.  Although we have never met face to face, we have known each other almost a year.  It’s funny how some of my best friends I have never actually “met”!  After his tour he plans to come up to Canada to meet my husband and I (and Dusty of course), and since he’s never been to Canada to get a little look around at the country I call home.  Now starts the slow countdown to when he will come back safe.
